What is the Medical Physics MSc Programme?
The aim of the programme is to train medical physicists with interdisciplinary theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as strong application skills. Graduates will be qualified as scientific professionals capable of performing clinical tasks, participating in academic and industrial research, developing and operating methods, equipment, and measuring instruments based on modern technologies at a high level, and supervising the medical use of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and radioactive materials.
Based on their knowledge in the fields of diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine (both diagnostics and therapy), radiation therapy, radiation protection, and radiobiology, and with a strong professional commitment and adherence to ethical standards, graduates will be able to meet the specific requirements of medical physics.
Students completing the programme are also well prepared to continue their studies in doctoral (PhD) programmes.
